Today

The warm sun covers this day
Awake from a dream and into this light
I tossed and turned in the warmth of a memory
It all seems so distant but it was only yesterday
That the sky was open and the clouds were smiling
Most of all I want to give
With the knowledge that I might not receive
Most of all I want to learn
Receive the knowledge on how to give
Receive the knowledge on how to truly live
